Dai & Associates Expands to the Silicon Valley
Nov 27, 2018
Dai & Associates is delighted to announce the expansion of our law firm to the Silicon Valley. With this new office, we will focus on serving Bay Area Chinese clients in technology and venture capital. This marks a significant milestone in our development.
Dai & Associates is headquartered in New York and has a Shanghai office that serves as a conduit between our China-based clients and the United States. Dai & Associates has a team of Chinese and American legal experts specializing in litigation, arbitration, real estate, immigration, capital markets, corporate, M&A, employment and intellectual property. Established in 2005, Dai & Associates has earned an excellent reputation throughout the New York Area.
Now we are expanding our services to Silicon Valley, where innovative start-ups and entrepreneurs seek to realize their dreams. Our new office will focus on providing services to emerging and existing technology as well as venture capital clients, providing strategic support for Dai & Associates’ corporate, capital markets, litigation and intellectual property rights practices. Its proximity to the world’s most innovative community will significantly increase our capacity to serve Chinese-VC backed startup companies during each stage of their development—from idea through exit. Our legal professionals leverage their expertise in U.S. capital markets and deep understanding of Chinese culture to help entrepreneurial ventures address complex marketplace challenges while staying ahead of the competition.
Shang Dai, the founding partner of Dai & Associates, said: “This new office symbolizes the deep commitment of our partners, attorneys, and staff members to satisfy the needs of Chinese who work, study, and live in the U.S., not just on the East Coast but also the West Coast.” Larry Wu, Managing Partner of Dai & Associates, noted that: “We have desired to establish a presence in California for some time because it is home to the most active Chinese entrepreneurial community. The opening of this office is the result of our collective long-term effort.”
Amiad Kushner, partner and head of the litigation group at Dai & Associates, noted that “California and New York are the two most active U.S. jurisdictions for China-related litigation and arbitration. We are thrilled to have our own office in Silicon Valley, which will enable us to offer more efficient services for our clients in New York or California.”
With this office, Dai & Associates has stepped onto the next level of development and will continue to expand its services for Chinese clients in the U.S.
